I dont use it in MDI mode because it didnt create any movement when pressed and the green Start button on the keypad did.

When I rotate the selector switch through the various options (Edit, Memory, MDI, Auto, etc.) the display doesnt change.

If I hit the POS button the axis locations are displayed, if I hit COMMAND, Parameters, SET, etc.

When I hit the Start button on the keypad the machine carries out those commanded operations just fine (However, it doesnt move if I hit the Cycle Start button.

With the mode selector switch rotated through any of the options I can still jog through any of the display options.

Ive written a few programs in Tape Edit mode (program O102, O1002, O1234, etc.).

When I rotate the switch to Tape Memory the program number is displayed in the upper right corner as O1234 with N1234 posted right next to it.

However, if I use my cursor to move through the lines of code that use sequence number (N110, N120, N130, etc.) in the Tape Edit mode, when I rotate the dial back to Tape Memory the display in the upper right corner of the monitor still lists the program number O1234 (or whatever it is) with N120 (or whatever sequence number I had the cursor highlighting in Tape Edit mode).

According to the manual, this is the procedure to start a program from a specific line of code.

Normally when in EDIT Mode with the program displayed, if you select MEMORY Mode, the MEMORY Program screen will display.

Everything else youve described in your last Post is correct.

In EDIT Mode press RESET to ensure the Cursor is at the Top of the Program 2.

Is there a reason why your machine uses a Astrix at the end of block instead of a; semicolon.

Try going to edit and move your cursor down a few lines, then switch back to memory and see if it will run.

The manual does show screen photos that have the at the end of each block, though.
